For the past thirty five years, Kenny Raskin has made a name for himself worldwide as a leading physical comedian and teacher of clowning. He starred as the lead clown Everyman in Cirque du Soleil's NOUVELLE EXPERIENCE, Kenny was also featured in Cirque du Soleil's 3D IMAX film entitled JOURNEY OF MAN, and appeared as well as the Vaudeville Comedian in director Barry Levinson's film, LIBERTY HEIGHTS.
Before joining Cirque du Soleil, Kenny performed his one man show, THE AUDITION, for over ten years, both in the United States and on television shows in Europe and South America. Kenny has also been a frequent player in the European Variete circuit, performing in theaters such as the WINTERGARTEN VARIETE in Berlin and the APOLLO VARIETE in Dusseldorf.
Also a singer/songwriter, Kenny released his debut CD in 2018, entitled MY GREATEST HITS! He is a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in ukulele, guitar, piano, mandolin, banjo and bouzouki. His musical styles are influenced by jazz swing, folk and Americana, and the novelty music of the early 20th century.

Kenny has been a teacher of acting, physical comedy, and clown for over thirty years. He has been an adjunct faculty member at Boston University, Emerson College, Emory University and Brandeis University. He has taught workshops for Artistic New Directions, Motionfest, The Moisture Festival and the Leonard Bernstein Arts Festival.
